Coach C.K Akunnor has furnished the Hearts of Oak management with the list of players he wants in his team for next season.

The former Ghana international who was appointed Hearts coach early on in the second half of last season aims to knit a solid side capable of wrestling the league title from rivals Asante Kotoko.

Akunnor without revealing the identities of the players he has requested for however says he will not be making wholesale changes to the team he inherited from Serb Nebojsa Vucicevic.

“Yes I have presented the list of players I want at the club to the management but I insist I am not looking to change the entire team as expected,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I just want some players in the Premier League and some young ones who are hungry for success.

“I believe these acquisitions combined with what we already have will make a strong team for next season.”

Hearts finished third in the Premier League last term a staggering 16 points behind eventual winners Asante Kotoko.
