Ghanaian Francis Akwaffo scored his debut Egyptian Premier League goal to hand Al Ittihad a much-needed 1-0 win over El Geish on Saturday.

The winger scored the only goal of the game in the 55th minute to ensure Ittihad's five match winless run was halted.

The former Asante Kotoko player was replaced on 87 minutes by Ahmed Zakaria.

He joined the side this summer.

Meanwhile, compatriot Ernest Papa-Arko played 90 minutes for El Geish.
