Alhassan steps up to challenge Raji for GHALCA post

Veteran football administrator Jones Alhassan Abu is so far the only confirmed challenger to Alhaji Raji for the chairmanship of the Ghana League Clubs Association(GHALCA).

The Real Tamale United Director has filled his nomination to contest the post at the executive committee elections of the welfare body on December 14.

The ex Ghana FA Ex.Co member thus for now will go head-to-head with interim chairman Alhaji Raji who was until now was running unopposed.

Meanwhile Nana Oduro-Sarfo is so far the only candidate gunning for the vice chairmanship slot while PRO of Hearts of Oak Albert Commey has reportedly also filled to contest as the Premier League Representative on the Executive Committee.

Nominations for the various positions are opened until December 5.
