Amidaus Professionals needed two second half goals to beat 10-man Berekum Cheslea 2-0 at the Tema Park on Saturday.
The visitors were guided by Tony Lokko who was in-charge of Amidaus last season and managed to contain his former side in the first half.
But Amidaus had a plan B and were a mouthful for the 2011 champions as the pinged the ball around nicely.
Daniel Awunii opened the scoring in the 70th minute he connected a rebound after goalkeeper Michael Sai finger-tipped Kofi Koomson's cross from the right.
Ten minutes later Berekum Chelsea were reduced to ten men after midfielder Samuel Owusu Jackson picked up a second yellow card.
