The team was led by owner Nana Fosu Gyeabuor II.

The purpose of the visit was to brief the president on the teams' participation in the tournament in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, after losing the trophy to Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria in the final.

Executive Council Member Frederick Acheampong, who was in Yammossoukro for the final, was also in attendance.

Despite missing out on the trophy and a spot in the CAF Women's Champions League in Morocco, Okraku praised the team's efforts.
