Anderlecht’s medical staff are working the clock to get in-form Frank Acheampong ready for Sunday’s Pro League championship play-off clash against Club Brugge.

The fast winger suffered a knee injury while on international duty with Ghana three weeks ago.

He scored and got injured in the 3-1 win over Mozambique last month in Accra during a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Acheampong was expected to be ready for the start of the play-offs but he has lost the fitness battle.

The 22-year-old scored four goals during the regular season.
