Anderlecht youngster of Ghanaian descent Jeremy Doku has been handed a call-up by Belgium to play for their U-17 team in the upcoming Syrenka Cup.
The 16-year-old is among seven Anderlecht youth team players to receive the invite for the mini-tournament which will take place in Poland.
Belgium U-17 will open their account against host Poland on September with Doku expected to earn a starting berth.
Doku is one of the highly rated youngsters in the Anderlecht academy with his impressive performances going unnoticed.
Liverpool are reported to have come close to signing him in the summer transfer window.
