Arsenal midfielder Ramsey: Top four? We’re up for it!

Published on: 18 April 2017

Aaron Ramsey admits a top-four finish will be a tricky proposition for Arsenal this season.

The Gunners returned to sixth position on the Premier League table with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

The North Londoners now find themselves seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester City with only one game in hand, which suggests to midfielder Ramsey that a Champions League spot will be a great achievement if they can pull it off.

"Of course it's going to be a difficult run but we're up for the challenge," he said, according to Arsenal.com.

"We had to start by getting the three points.

"I think we have seven games left now, so it's important for us to take it a game at a time.

"I think we're going to have to win them all - we're capable of doing that but it's going to take an enormous amount of concentration in every game."

Arsenal's next fixture comes in the form of the FA Cup semi-final against City at Wembley on the weekend prior to the visit of reigning champions Leicester City on April 26.
