English giants Arsenal are prepared to triple Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey's current wages to buy him from Atletico Madrid.

The Gunners are front runners to secure the transfer of the 27-year-old - who has a £45m release clause in his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano - this summer.

According to AS, Mikel Arteta’s side could vastly improve his wages, the same outlet reports that Napoli are hot on their heels.

The report adds the Serie A side are willing to offer Poland international Arek Milik in a player-exchange deal.

Milik has scored 47 goals in 113 appearances for the Italian outfit and is said to be Diego Simeone's number one attacking target.
