Kumasi Asante Kotoko assistant coach Michael Osei has vowed that his outfit will not go trophyless in the coming season, insisting they will win any trophy they compete for.

The Kumasi-based club went trophyless last season after losing their league title and the FA Cup to AshantiGold and Medeama respectively.

But the Porcupine Warriors have demonstrated glimpses of winning trophies after their impressive display over champions AshantiGold in the SWAG Cup match played last Sunday.

The deputy coach of the club, Michael Osei has stated that his outfit is hungry to win trophies in the upcoming season.

“Ahead of the upcoming season we are hungry to win trophies because last season we went trophyless and it affected the team a lot,” he said.

Asante Kotoko missed out of the CAF Champions League last season after losing to MC El Eulma at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as well losing the Otumfuo Cup to regional rivals AshantoGold.
