AshantiGold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo says it will require a miracle for his team to upstage Kotoko at the top of the table.

The Porcupine Warriors opened a 12-point lead at the summit of the table after beating arch-rivals Hearts of Oak 2-1 in the Ghanaian derby on Sunday.

The miners, who are placed second on the table, remain one of the few side’s who can upstage Kotoko with six games to spare.

But their Chief Executive has all but waved the white flag in the Premier League title race.

“We should start congratulating Kotoko for winning the League,” Fianoo told Accra-based Happy FM

“There is no team in Kotoko’s position which will allow themselves to lose out on the title. They have done well and I believe they have won the title.

“There is no way Kotoko will let this chance slip by. I don’t think it will happen under no circumstance,”
