AshantiGold SC are close to sealing the signing of defensive midfielder Eric Esso on a free transfer, GHANAsoccernet.com have gathered.
The former Heart of Lions star has been training with the Obuasi based side for over week now.
He featured in a friendly last Saturday for AshantiGold SC when they were held by King Faisal in a 1-1 stalemate.
Esso is expected to complete his switch in coming days when he finally signs for the Miners.
Esso is the brother of Hearts of Oak and Black Stars B sensation Joseph Esso.
