Ashgold Technical Director Svetislav Tanasijevic wants quick return of Ghana Premier League

Technical Director of Ghana Premier League side Ashantigold, Svetislav Tanasijevic  is worried by the uncertainty surrounding the return of the top flight league. 

Svetislav Tanasijevic, former coach of Berekum Chelsea switched camps after the first round of the Ghana Premier League.

However, his move coincided with the suspension of the Ghana Premier League after all football activities were halted due to the revelations of the Anas Expose.

Several footballers have been rendered in active however after the friendly between Ashantigold and Kotoko, the Serbian is eager for the return of the domestic.

"The suspension of football is not good for the players, it is not good for Ghana Football. This is very very hard, it is difficult because we wait and we don't know the return of the league," he said.

"It is taking too much time, too much training. And we give the players rest we do not know when it will return. It is not good but I hope very soon, we will start the league," he added.

Ashantigold lost to Asante Kotoko in a friendly on Sunday and will play against the same opponents this Sunday at the Len Clay stadium.
