Aston Villa defender Philippe Senderos is being linked with a return home.
The Switzerland international has struggled for first team football at Villa Park over the past 12 months.
Blick says FC Zurich have been monitoring Senderos' situation and believe they can tempt him home in January.
Senderos was frozen out of Villa's registered Premier League squad this season and doesn't expect a recall in the New Year.
The defender has managed just nine appearances for Villa.
