Atlético Madrid ace Thomas Partey confident ahead of Juventus clash in UCL

Midfielder Thomas Partey is confident of Atlético Madrid's chances ahead of their mammoth UEFA Champions League clash with Juventus on Wednesday.

The Rojiblancos will host the serie A runaway leaders at the Wanda Metropolitano in the first leg of the round of 16 fixture.

Partey, who has been an integral member of the team this season is expected to start tonight after missing Athletico's 1-0 win over Rayo Vellacano on Saturday due to suspension.

"You have to try to play as a team. We have won many matches playing as we know. We have a style of our own that has always given us many victories and we have been developing a lot of time. From this, I'm sure everything will be fine," Partey said ahead of tonight's game.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has netted 22 times against the Red and Whites and Partey is weary of the threat posed by the Portuguese superstar.

However, he maintains the game won't be an easy one for both sides.

"They are a great team and they are in a good moment. We all know Cristiano. It seems that we have some irregular matches, but the team is fine and we have an opportunity to show that we can reach the end,' Partey admits.
