Youngster Christian Atsu has described his debut Ghana goal as a dream come true.

The 20-year-old came on as a second half substitute to score late in the Black Stars’ 7-0 thrashing of Lesotho in the opening 2014 World Cup qualifier last Friday in Kumasi.

Aside, the goal, Atsu emerged as one of the best performing players on the day though having limited opportunities on the pitch but it is the goal that the Porto winger savours most.

“I was very excited for scoring for the national team in my first game,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I would say that it wasn’t an easy game for me so I am very excited I got the goal, it was a dream come true.”
