Ayew Yeboah to join Tema Youth for second round of the season

Striker Sam Ayew Yeboah will sign for Ghana Premier League club Tema Youth, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 24-year-old returns to the Ghanaian top flight for the second half of the season following the mutual cancellation of his contract with Faroe Islands side Tvoryrar Boltfelag.

The ex Liberty Professionals player is currently training with the Tema-based team and will be duly registered with the opening of the secondary transfer window on Monday.

Yeboah says he was drawn to Tema Youth due to their unique brand of football haven been handed an offer from Hearts of Oak.

“I am happy to be back and glad to be joining Tema Youth,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I decided to join them becuase they play very good football, one that suits my style and also because they have a good coach whom I know and respect a lot.”

The Ghana international is also looking to help the side win a top four finish by the end of the season.

“I am not only coming back because of my personal interest but also to help the team,” he adds.

“They are not doing badly at all and I hope to help them finish in the top four.”
