AZ Alkmaar youngster Myron Boadu could make Dutch national team debut soon

Former Netherlands midfielder Ronald De Boer believes AZ Alkmaar youngster Myron Boadu has the potential to feature for the Dutch national team.

According to De Boer, the striker of Ghanaian descent could be invited to represent the European country soon after his sensational start to the Eredivise season.

The 18-year-old has scored two and assisting three in four games.

"We have a bit of a pointed problem in Dutch football, but he is definitely knocking on the door. It might be a little early, but it is nice that this guy is developing this way."

"Put him down at PSV  and show it over a longer period. But that this is a boy with potential, that is very clear."

Boadu has played for all youth national teams of Netherlands.
