B.Chelsea beat Ghana U20 in friendly ahead of Chmps Lge test

Berekum Chelsea needed a second-half goal from Richard Kissi Boateng to beat Ghana Under-20 side 1-0 at the Tema Sports Stadium on Thursday.

The left-back capitalized on a defensive mix-up to score the only goal in the second half of the match

The squad is trimming the rough edges for their CAF Champions League first qualifying round first leg tie against Liberian side LISCR on Saturday.

Head coach Hans Van der Plyum fielded is best player set for their continental debut this weekend.

New signings Joseph Ato Bissah, Jordan Opoku, Nafiu Iddrisu, Prince Papa Arko were involved in the warm-up game.

The team will leave Accra on Friday for Monrovia.
