Berekum Chelsea boss Hans Van der Plyum has been cleared of wrongdoing for his alleged racial comment against the Ghana FA.

It was alleged he accused the GFA of being racists after he missed out on the Ghana Under-20 job.

But the Ethics committee of the Federation found insufficient evidence to implicate the ex-Heart of Lions boss who has spent over a decade in that country.

"The Ethics Committee did not find any allegation of racism against the G.F.A as indicated by the Publication," Ethics Committee vice-chairman ACOP Kofi Boakye said a statement

"Having heard the presentation from both sides the Committee was satisfied no such allegation was made and therefore brought proceedings to an end."

Several foreign coaches applied to coach Ghana's U17, U20 and U23 sides when the positions were declared vacant in August.

But the federation opted to shortlist and appoint only Ghanaian coaches to take up the role of developing the country's future talents.
