According to AS, Barcelona are set to tie Arsenal target Sergi Samper down to a new contract.
The 21-year-old, who grew up at Barça academy, has made 11 senior appearances for the La Liga champions.
Even though he tasted only 443 minutes of first-team action last term, he is about to commit his future to the club and sign a new four-year contract.
It has been reported, he has had offers from elsewhere in the past, most notably from the Gunners, but opted to remain at Camp Nou.
