Foster Appiah was adjudged man of the match following Bechem United’s 2-0 win Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The right-back was seen as the best player on the field at the Nana Gyeabour Park, helping Bechem United end their run of bad results with an impressive win over their regional rivals.
Although Appiah wasn’t among the scorers, his contribution was telling, with his MOTM award prize duly deserved.
The goals came from the boots of Clinton Duodu and Emmanuel Annor in the first and second halves respectively.
Bechem would hope to build on this excellent performance to climb further away from the relegation zone.
