Ghanaian forward Jonah Osabutey will sign a permanent contract at Belgian Jupilar Pro League side Royal Mouscron.

Osabutey joined the Royals on a season-long loan deal with the option to purchase from German Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen last summer.

The 21-year-old quickly became a key member of the side, scoring five goals and registering four assists in 22 matches to win the club's Player of the Season gong.

Reports suggest that Royal Mouscron have exercised their buy option in his loan contract hence will be signing the Ghanaian before his contract expires on June 30, 2020.

Mouscron will pay a little less than €700,000 to secure the striker's services from the Weserstadion outfit.

Osabutey joined Werder Bremen in 2017 and despite netting twelve goals and providing two assists in 27 games, he was never promoted to the senior team, which made him decide to seek for top flight action elsewhere.

He has played for Ghana at both the under-17 and under-20 levels, making seven appearances.
