Belgium youth team coach Bob Browaeys sees no problem with Doku's inability to use left foot

Belgium youth team coach Bob Browaeys says there is nothing wrong with winger Jeremy Doku's inability to use his left foot effectively.

According to the former goalkeeper, the 17-year old is still in his developmental stages and will get better as he grows in the game.

Doku has been heavily criticised for showing less effort in improving his weaker foot, despite having a breakthrough season with Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht.

"His kick with the left foot should get better, yes," Browaeys told Het Nieusbald. "In the game there is no big problem for me," he added.

"You see that with many creative players too. But they prefer to kick the ball with the inside and outside of their foot. This is simply for the brain."

The Belgium born Ghanaian has been on the radar of several top European clubs following a good campaign with Anderlecht, scoring four goals and creating three assists.

In 2018, Liverpool came close to signing the teenager.
