Midfielder Bennard Kumordzi came off the substitute bench to help KRC Genk record an emphatic 3-0 victory over new-comers KV Oostende in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday.

The 27-year-old was introduced by boss Mario Been ten minutes from time to shore up the midfield and the lanky midfielder saw to that job with consummate skill to see off the visitors at the Cristal Arena.

Kumordzi enjoyed a successful period in the last ten minutes exhibiting moments of brilliant touches in the middle to highlight his superiority in the middle.

The former Dijon midfielder had come on as an 80th minute replacement for Norwegian midfielder Khaleem Hyland as Fabien Camus, Jelle Vossen and Thomas Buffel got the goals for the Blues.
