Ghana Premier League side Berekum Arsenals have confirmed the suspension of striker David Anars and Seidu Yakubu for gross insubordination.

Anars, formerly of Hearts of Oak and Sekondi Hasaacas, together with Yakubu have been slapped with the indefinite suspension on disciplinary grounds.

The duo will not be involved in the remaining seven matches of the country’s top flight league this season.

''We'll like to inform our fans of the suspension of David Anars and Seidu Yakubu for poor disciplinary record over the past few months,'' Club Chairman Alhaji Yakubu Imoro confirmed to GHANAsoccernet.com

''The move is to instill some level of professionalism in the two players and serve as a deterrent to others to avoid future occurrences.''
