Berekum Chelsea coach Hans Van Der Plyuim prefers to highlight his team’s strengths rather than shift focus on its frailties.

The 2010 Ghana Premier League champions have been impressive so far in their maiden campaign in the Caf Champions League – remaining unbeaten after two rounds of matches at the group stage.

Chelsea’s striking prowess with lethal finisher Emmanuel Cloyttey in full flight has on several occasions papered off the cracks in the defence.

The team has in both group games had to come from behind to get a result and have thus conceded four goals – too much for a prospective title winning side especially on the African terrain.

But Chelsea’s Dutch trainer insists he prefers to rather celebrate the team’s success going forward rather than moan excessively on its shortcomings at the rear.

“I don’t want to talk about that (team’s frailties), football is a game of mistakes and in every position you can make mistakes,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“We have to identify where we make the mistakes and improve upon them that is all.

“If I was satisfied then it means you don’t have to improve anymore, there is always room to improve.

Chelsea who are now second in Group B with four points, next travel to Cairo to face leaders Al Ahly who are on six points haven won their two opening group games.
