Jordan Opoku claims Kotoko wants him back

Berekum Chelsea midfielder Jordan Opoku claims his former club Kotoko are desperate for his signature.  Â

The 29-year-old left the Ghanaian League champions in 2009 under controversial circumstances despite enjoying a successful two year spell at the club.

He joined Chelsea in 2011 after a six-month stint at Albanian side side Tirana and has since gone ahead to impress heavily for the Blues in the just ended campaign.

The ex-Feyernord enforcer is now claiming the Porcupine Warriors are keen on capturing him once again.

““Well there is something like that in the pipeline; they have spoken to me but yet to speak with my team Chelsea so I can’t really say much,” Opoku told Radio XYZ

“"What I can say is that Kotoko is a big club, I played there for two seasons, had a great time with them and achieved great things while in Kumasi but as we speak nothing has happened. I will soon make a decision on that’.

Opoku won the Ghana League title and the President cup during his stay in Kumasi.
