Ghana's solution to the problem of Michael Essien's absence from the Black Stars is seen by many as Bernard Kumordzi.

The Greece-based midfielder has been the most sought-after players in the Greek top flight because of his excellent displays in the country's league.

The Panoinois enforcer has been pivotal in the club's recent successes which have attracted interest from giants Panathnaikos and Olympiakos.

But the interest is not only concentrated in Greece as he has previously been linked with moves to England and Spain.

Ghana's solution to the problem of Michael Essien's absence from the Black Stars is seen by many as Bernard Kumordzi.
Despite his performances for his club, the 25-year-old had not had the opportunity to impress at the Black Stars level because of the crack midfield.

With the uncertainty surrounding Essien's future involvement in the Ghana team, Kumordzi the lanky but strong midfielder must be fancying his chances.

His performance against in the friendly against Togo must have warmed the heart of new Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic.

With the top clubs in Greece preparing to fight for his signature at the end of the league, he must be pondering a move to a popular league because of the exposure.

The Greek league is not show on many African TV stations which means fans and officials prefer players plying their trade in England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France.

But the hidden Ghanaian gems of the other leagues like Greece, Israel, Serbia, the lower divisions of Spain and Bulgaria are not noted.
