Bernard Mensah savors opening day victory with Kayserispor in Turkey Super Lig

Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah has commended his teammates for the opening day victory for Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig against Antalyspor. 

The 23 year old year old saw 90 minutes of action before he made way for Atila Turan in injury time as Kayserispor began their campaign with a 2-0 home victory over Antalyspor.

The Ghana International is on loan from Atletico Madrid, but spent last season in Turkey with Kasimpasa where he excelled earning him a move to Kayserispor.

Tjaronn Chery opener the scoring for the Red and Yellows in the 14th minute before Umut Bulut added the second on 74 minutes.

Following the victory, the Ghanaian credited the victory to "great team effort.

He posted on Twitter,"3 Points, great team work and effort."

Kayserispor will next travel to Bursa to play Bursaspor.

His compatriot and Black Stars Asamoah Gyan, was on the bench but will be expected to be part of the team ahead of their game against Bursaspor.
