Black Queens arrive in Nigeria ahead of Aisha Buhari invitational tournament

Ghana's Black Queens have arrived in Lagos ahead of the 2021 Aisha Buhari invitational cup tournament. 

The technical team and twenty three players touched down at the Mohammed Murtala Airport on Monday morning for the competition which begins Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

The Black Queens have been paired with Cameroon and South Africa in Group B – a tournament the Coach intends to use to prepare her side for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers. Host Nigeria will face Morocco and Mali in Group A.

The organizers announced on Sunday that all the six matches of the international showpiece in honour of the name and Office of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will now be held at the remodelled and upgraded Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
