The former Inter Allies coach has revealed the tournament will be a justify your inclusion for most of the local players ahead of the Africa Youth Championship next year.

“We believe the WAFU isn’t about the cup but its preparation," he told the press. "We have spent some time with the team during the qualifiers where we invited some European players. And now they are gone,” he added.

“So we have decided to look at the local players around and understudy them from now to the tournament. And we will know those who can make the team after the WAFU for AFCON”, Jimmy added.

The tournament begins on 6th of December and will end on 16th of the same month.
