Black Satellites to arrive in Ghana on Sunday after winning U20 Afcon title

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced that Black Satellites will return home on Sunday after winning U20 Africa Cup of Nations title in Mauritania.

They will touch down at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday evening with the trophy.

The Black Satellites won their fourth title on Saturday night following a 2-0 victory over debutants in the final.

 

The team is scheduled to depart from its base in Nouakchott on Sunday morning and are expected to touch base in Accra later at 4 pm.

The team led by Management Committee chairman Randy Abbey will depart Nuoakchott at 10 am with a Ghana Airforce plane.

The U20 African Champions will be met on arrival by the Minister of Youth & Sports Hon. Mustapha Ussif and officials of the GFA.

The team is expected to present the trophy to H.E the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo later.
