The national Under-17 team have drawn Gambia in the 2013 African Championship first round qualifier.

The Black Starlets, two-time world champions, face the Baby Scorpions on the weekend of 19-21 October in Banjul for the first leg.

The second tie will be played in Accra between 2-4 November.

Gambia eliminated Ghana for a spot in the finals of the 2009 African Championship.

The Black Starlets have failed to qualify for the last two editions of the African championship.
