Black Stars striker David Accam has described head coach of the national team Avram Grant as an exceptional manager who has a very good relationship with the players.

According to David Accam the appointment of the Avram Grant as the head coach of the Black Stars was a welcoming news for him in particular and all the players in general as they knew where he was coming from.

Accam, 25 says that Avram Grant has justified the expectations of the players as they really expected a lot from him because of his previous experience at Chelsea.

In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com the former Helsinborg striker said, “He is a good coach. We all knew what he had done and what he is doing now. He is doing good for the national team.”

“His relationship with the players is very good and I see him as an exceptional coach. His experience and the way he speaks to us always encourages us. He is a great coach,” he added.

The former Chelsea boss has come under immense criticism for his neglect for the local league and his consistent travel to Europe but the Black Stars striker insists he is an exceptional coach.
