Former Ghana FA boss, Alhaji M.N.D Jawula, says the loss of concentration during games has been the major factor that has hindered the Black Stars from winning the AFCON title.

According to the veteran football administrator, lack of focus and concentration by the various national teams during games is what must be looked at and the unnecessary shifting of blames on players after games should be stopped.

“Most of our defeat is due to loss of concentration. We have seen it in a lot of games. In bigger games against Germany in Brazil we were leading and then threw away the lead. Against Uruguay in South Africa same thing happened, he told Happy FM.

“This has affected us right from the juvenile and colts level, to the division straight to the national teams. After that, things don’t relate to the match we come and blame the players for it”.
