Bosnia coach Bazdarevic urges Roma to stick with Dzeko

Bosnia coach Mehmed Bazdarevic is adamant Edin Dzeko will prove himself at Roma.

Dzeko has struggled for goals since his summer arrival from Manchester City.

Bazdarevic said: “We are all aware of his quality and his popularity makes him different from the rest,” said Bazdarevic in a Press conference.

“If we look at the statistics we can say he has not lived up to expectations, but he scored nine goals and by the end of the season will have at least another couple, so that’ll mean he’s done well in his first Serie A season.

“One thing is sure – he will always have my support and that of Bosnia, so his quality will help him become the best striker in Italy.”
