Brefo Mensah returns to Horoya AC training after a lengthy injury layoff

Ghanaian attacking midfielder Brefo Mensah has returned to training after over two months out injured, the club said on Friday.

Mensah suffered a knee injury in early October at training and has since not played.

The return of the 27-year-old will boost Horoya AC who seek to win a continental silverware season.

They currently lead in their group in the CAF Confederation Cup and are on the verge of advancing to the quarter-finals.

Mensah made only two appearances for the Guinean champions in the CAF Champions League qualifications before his injury.

The WAFA Academy graduate is yet to make an appearance in the Guinea Ligue 1 since at the start of the season, he was nursing the injury.
