Brentford 1-2 Norwich: Daniel Farke's Canaries side finally get their first win of the season

Published on: 06 November 2021

Norwich finally secured their first Premier League win of the season with a 2-1 victory at the Brentford Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Norwich midfielder Mathias Normann got the opener just six minutes in, and the Canaries doubled their lead when Teemu Pukki was fouled by substitute Charlie Goode and picked himself up to score the resulting penalty.

Wing-back Rico Henry pulled a goal back on the hour but the visitors held firm despite late pressure from their fellow promoted side to grab a much-needed three points in their battle against relegation.

More to follow.
