Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Aziz is confident they will eliminate Guinean side CI Kamsar in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League despite their uninspiring form ahead of the one-off decider.

The Phobians lost their second warm-up match on Sunday as they were beaten 3-2 by Ghana Premier League new boys Accra Lions. Six days earlier the Ghanaian champions suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Togolese side ASKO de Kara in Lome.

“It's been a tough few days,” he confessed in an interview with phobianews.com, adding “It's been a bit up and down but it's like that sometimes. It's been an alright month but, for now, it's all about sticking together and finding a way to win games especially our Continental tie against the Guineans on Sunday."

“We always bounce back when we don't do so well and I think it's another one of those times. We have to come together as a team, get back to the basics, and win games."

Hearts will face Kamsar in a one-off deicder at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday after CAF cancelled the first leg because of political instability in Guinea.
