Burkinabe side Salitas are on the verge of causing a huge upset in the CAF Confederation Cup after beating last season's semi-finalists Al Masry 2-0 away on Saturday in the first qualifying first leg tie.
Masry fell behind after 32 minutes when Salitas' Cedrik Badolo capitalized on some sloppy defending to run half of the length of the pitch unopposed and beat the keeper with a deflected shot.
Salitas went 2-0 up in the 72nd minute to rub salt into Masry's wounds, thanks to a brilliant overhead kick from Ismael Karambiri.
Masry will face an uphill climb to overturn the deficit when they meet Salitas in the second leg in Ouagadougou next week.
