Ghana women's league champions Hasaacas Ladies have been drawn in Group B of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers of the CAF champions League.

The double winners will face Nigerian heavyweight River Angels and Niger's AS Police de Niamey in Group B with the winner of the Zone progressing to the next stage.

Fresh off winning the FA Cup, Hasaacas Ladies are the first team to represent Ghana in the new competition introduced by CAF in 2020.

The draw was supervised by WAFU administrative secretary Boureima Balima in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, on Monday.

In the other group, Cote d’Ivoire’s Onze Soeurs de Gagnoa will compete with Union Sportive des forces Armees of Burkina Faso and Amis du Monde Football Club of Togo.

Only the group winners will make it to the final tournament of the maiden edition of the CAFWCL to be held in Egypt later in the year.
