Cameroon's Indomitable Lions are planning to camp in Accra before their double 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June.

Head coach Jean-Paul Akono believes training in the Ghanaian capital will be best for his side before engaging Togo and DR Congo all on the road.

Cameroon are yet to confirm a friendly with Ukraine on 2 June before the two assignments days later.

The Cameroon Football Federation was previously considering pitching camp in Cotonou, Benin but they are not impressed with facilities in the country.

"Advanced mission returned last weekend and mentioned in the report that Benin does not meet the conditions for a favourable stay for the Lions. We recommend two other cities, but it is likely that we will establish our headquarters in Accra, Ghana," a member of the delegation returning from Benin said.

Cameroon, Group I leaders, will face Togo in Lome on June 9 before travelling to the Democratic Republic of Congo on June 16.
