Chelsea are hoping to take advantage of AC Milan's talks with Rafael Leao over a new contract.
The Brazilian striker is not sure about where his future lies, even though he has excelled at the San Siro stadium club.
Leao is out of contract in the summer of 2024, which could tempt clubs into bidding for him as early as January.
Per Sky Italia, Milan are bracing themselves for big money offers in the region of £105 million.
The Serie A champions are very hesitant to part with Leao, as he is the brightest spark of their attack this season.
However, if he does not renew by the summer, they may have no option but to sell him to recoup funds to reinvest in the squad.
