Christopher Antwi-Adjei wants Padeborn to attack more ahead of Augsburg clash

Ghana winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei has urged his Paderborn teammates to attack more when they play Augsburg on Wednesday night in the Bundesliga.

The SC Paderborn star disclosed after his side's draw against Hoffenheim last Saturday that they fell short in the final third after squandering several chances.

"We had more possession than in Düsseldorf, where we lacked the punch," Antwi-Adjei told SCPO7 TV.

The 26-year came close to scoring in the second half after a cross from Kai Proger from the right was missed narrowly by the attacker.

Antwi-Adjei was shifted in a more midfield role last weekend, a position he reveled at because of his versatility. It is expected that manager Markus Gellhaus hand the Ghanaian winger the same role.

"I feel versatile from the experience. We have to be committed and attack forward," said Antwi-Adjei.

Paderborn are currently rooted bottom of the Bundesliga and will need to win against Augsburg to boost slim chance survival.
