Julius Ben Ehuman, a member of the Ghana Football Association Club Licensing team, has warned that bad pitches for league matches will not be entertained in the upcoming season.
For several years, there have been massive complains about the state of some of the playing surfaces in the domestic leagues.
This led to the formation of the Club Licensing board, who are in charge of ensuring the various venues are up to standard for matches.
However, some clubs fail to meet the requirement of the board.
"Pitch quality is zero tolerance for us, it has to be quality. Natural or artificial. Inner perimeter fencing and a tunnel connecting to a befitting dress that can accommodate over 30 people with the necessary furnishings," he told 3 Sports.
"Of course, the venue should have washrooms and a dedicated place for referees," he added.
This applies clubs in both the men's and women's divisions and according to Mr Ehuman only teams that meet the requirements will be handed license to use their home venues.
