Berekum Arsenals head coach Johnson Smith fears lack of financial backing can derail the team's campaign next season.

The Gunners escaped relegation on the final day of the Premier League following a 3-1 win over New Edubiase at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast last Sunday.

Arsenals hitherto invincibility at the Golden City Park was broken this term where they lost valuable points.

The head coach of the club says inadequate funding can undo the club next term.

"We had lot of problems this season and it was largely due to lack of finances in the club. The owners and directors of the club did their best to support the club but if the current situation persists it might affect us," the ex-coach of Asante Kotoko said.
