Compared to Bateman's blood-spattered coat! Arsenal's away kit for 20-21 leaked

Arsenal's supposed away kit for the 2020-2021 season has been leaked on Twitter, with fans quick to criticise the design.

The shirt, which was shared by FootyHeadlines, has been compared to Patrick Bateman's blood-spattered American Psycho overcoat.

For the first time in 10 years, Arsenal will be wearing a predominantly white shirt with an added marble print - which has divided opinion online.

Adidas had postponed their initial launch of the home and away kits due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the images have surfaced on social media.

The shirt, which bears the adverting 'Emirates - Fly Better' across the chest and the 'Visit Rwanda' logo on the left sleeve, will be accompanied with maroon shorts and white socks.

Some fans have suggested the kit has taken inspiration from raspberry ripple ice cream while others have compared it to a butcher's shirt.

However, other supporters have jumped to the shirt's defence, sharing their delight with the new, quirky design.

Some are saying that marble look is to replicate the marble halls at Highbury, which was the home of Arsenal Football Club between 1913 and 2006.

Others have simply stated that 'it's better than anything Puma made.'

Adidas took over from Puma at the end of the 2018-2019 campaign, making their latest design the second adidas kit Arsenal have sported.

Their first set of kits were a success with both the fans and players as they donned classic home strip and iconic yellow away jersey.

However, their new kit is not too dissimilar to the white shirt and maroon shorts worn by Arsenal during the 2008-2009 campaign.
