Vitoria Guimaraes star Alhassan Wakaso has earned a second Ghana call-up on the back of a rich-vein of form.
The 27-year-old has been one of the stand-out performers in the Portuguese Liga this term.
He has scored one goal in 23 league appearances.
The box-to-box player set a season record of successful tackles with 11 after surpassing Edson Farias's previous record of ten on match day 4 against Sporting Club.
Wakaso earned his debut international call-up in 2016 for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
He will join his senior brother Mubarak, who plays for Spanish side Deportivo Alaves, when training starts next Monday, 18 March 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
