Former Hearts of Oak winger Patrick Razak has revealed coming close to securing a new club in Ghana until the outbreak of Covid-19 which has led to the cancellation of the season.

Razak has been without a club for the past eight months after his contract with Guinean outfit Horoya AC was terminated in November last year.

He has since been in Ghana hoping to land a new deal. There were initial reports that he had agreed to rejoin Hearts of Oak.

Speaking to S.K Ntim of Bryt FM, he said, “I had offers from some premier league clubs but because of the virus things are not straight forward. We were having one or two conversations with clubs but the virus has halted everything. Right now I’m focusing on my training and nothing else” he said.

Razak left the Phobians in 2018 after refusing to extend his contract to sign for Guinean giants Horoya AC.

The 23-year-old struggled to make his mark in Guinea which prompted the club to terminate his contract.
